The Rules of Engagement:
- Show Your Work: If you make a claim, hyperlink the source. If you reference data, link to the public dataset or archive. We run a fact-checking desk; we will check your math.
- Length: Keep it tight. We aim for 800 to 2,000 words. Make every single word count.
- The AI Rule: Do not send us AI-generated articles. We can spot them instantly. You are absolutely welcome to use AI to proofread your grammar or outline your thoughts, but the voice, research, and humor must be strictly human.
- Originality & Licensing: We want original pieces. Once we publish your work, it falls under our platform’s CC BY-NC 4.0 License. This means you are completely free to republish your own work on your personal blog or another platform later, provided Koshur Dude is credited and linked as the original publisher.
- Simultaneous Pitches: If you are pitching this exact same piece to three other portals, please let us know in your email.
- The Financial Reality: Let’s be completely transparent. Koshur Dude is a 100% independent, bootstrapped operation. That is a fancy way of saying we currently have zero budget to pay writers. We cannot offer you a paycheck right now, but we can offer you a premium, uncensored platform, a great byline, and an audience that actually reads past the headline.

Include a short author bio (under 50 words) and a square headshot with your submission. If you don’t provide a photo, we will use a sleek placeholder.

- Heavy Assets: Do not clog the desk’s inbox with massive file attachments. If your piece includes heavy datasets, video forensics, or high-res photography, drop a Google Drive or Dropbox link in your pitch.
