Video: Kashmir farmer’s funny song and dance during paddy plantation goes viral

Srinagar: Singing of ‘neand baet’ during the planting of paddy saplings in the Kashmir valley is common.

And as the paddy plantation season is in full swing, a song of a farmer singing a Kashmiri song has gone viral. The farmer can also be seen dancing while singing. Other farmers too can be heard singing alongside the farmer.

The farmer can be heard singing ‘mummye dam hay goem heartasy’ – a song that has of late become very popular on social media in Kashmir.

The farmer’s song and dance have been widely liked as can be seen in the comments.

Another netizen Hamsaya Hamsaya commented: “#Hearts manz ma chayay “#Guridariz”tawai chuye dam #gachaan. (sic).”
