Driven by his keen interest in physics and inspired by Ummar Jamal, another law student at the University of Kashmir, Shahid made the decision to pursue law. His friend Irfan Wani has played a pivotal role, acting as a teacher and father figure in his life. He is also grateful to Ganie Tariq, a teacher who has guided him on the right path. Additionally, his fellow law students, Ummar Jamal and Mir Tajamul Islam, have been constant sources of support and encouragement, helping Shahid overcome obstacles along the way.

Inspired by his friend Dr. Shakeel Wanie, who has provided invaluable guidance, and supported by his mentor Javid Khan, an exceptional English teacher, Shahid is determined to mold his life and career in a way that positively influences society.
